About
Tauseef Qureshi, MD
Physician advocate for critically ill and neurologically injured patients and their families.
Why advocacy
Families in the ICU face a flood of information, rotating clinicians, and decisions under pressure. Dr. Qureshi founded TRAZA Advocates to give families what he has seen they need most: someone who understands the ICU and can help them follow the conversation, ask the right questions, and be heard.
His focus is deliberately narrow: the sickest patients — those in intensive care on ventilators, and those with neurologic and brain injuries.
Leadership
Dr. Qureshi serves as Chairman of Medicine and Chairman of Quality at Providence Mission Hospital.
TRAZA Advocates is an independent practice. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Providence or Providence Mission Hospital. [Review flag: Tauseef to confirm wording and any employer policy before launch]
Physician-advocate disclosure
Tauseef Qureshi, MD is a licensed physician. In his work with TRAZA Advocates, he acts solely as an advocate for patients and families — not as a treating clinician.
- No doctor–patient relationship. Engaging TRAZA Advocates does not create a doctor–patient relationship with Dr. Qureshi or anyone working with the practice.
- No medical advice, treatment, or care plans. We do not diagnose, examine, treat, prescribe, write orders, create care plans, or recommend any medical course of action.
- Your treating team decides. Medical decisions belong to the patient, their legal decision-maker, and the treating care team. We help families understand conversations, prepare questions, and communicate — the choices remain yours and your clinicians'.
- Not for emergencies. If someone is in danger or needs urgent care, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
- Not legal or insurance advice. Help with appeals is organizational and educational; we are not attorneys or insurers.
