Physician-led patient advocacy · Irvine, California

When someone you love is in the ICU, you shouldn't have to navigate it alone.

TRAZA Advocates is an independent advocacy practice led by a quadruple board-certified critical care and neurocritical care physician. We help families of the sickest patients — those on ventilators and those with brain or neurologic injuries — understand what they're hearing, prepare the right questions, and communicate clearly with the care team.

Advocacy only — we do not provide medical care, advice, or recommendations.

Critical care

Advocacy for families of patients in the intensive care unit, including those on mechanical ventilation — long stays, complex teams, and fast-moving conversations.

Neurocritical care

Advocacy for families of patients with stroke, brain hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, and other neurologic emergencies, where prognosis conversations are among the hardest in medicine.

Through the transition

Support from the ICU to the step-down unit, discharge, and post-ICU recovery — including understanding your discharge and appeal rights.

An intensivist in your corner — not in charge of your care.

Dr. Tauseef Qureshi has spent his career inside ICUs. As an advocate, he uses that experience on your side of the table: translating terminology, helping you organize questions for family meetings, and keeping communication flowing between specialists, nurses, case managers, and insurers.

He works alongside your treating team, respectfully and calmly. He does not replace them, second-guess their orders, or tell you what to choose.
